SMI'11

Submission Closed!

We invite submission as "full-length paper" (up to 12 pages) or as short paper (up to 6 pages) in PDF format. The accepted submissions will appear either as full-length or short journal papers in Elsevier Computers & Graphics, special issue 35(3).

Submissions should conform to double-column, single spacing, 10pt with embedded figures. Corresponding LaTeX style file and examples can be downloaded here. All submissions will be handled via the Elsevier EES system following a two-stage peer review cycle.

Important Dates

To submit your paper:

  1. Prepare an anonymous version (you can use this LaTeX style template ).
  2. Go to http://ees.elsevier.com/cag/, click on "submit paper" in the top menu and log in (you will have to create an account if you don't have one already).
  3. Pick "Special issue: SMI 2011" in the drop-down list of article types.
  4. Continue following the system's prompts. Most steps are self explanatory, just a few additional details follows...
  5. When prompted to select an Editor, please select "Guest Editors 2011".
  6. Regarding "Additional Information" please use the following answers:
    Q: How did you learn about the journal?
    A: From Shape Modeling 2011.
    Q: Please provide the names etc...
    A: Niloy Mitra and Olga Sorkine (smi.qs.2011@gmail.com).
  7. While uploading files, please follow the following order:
    1. Upload 'graphical abstract' (this can simply be any image from your paper).
    2. Upload 'research highlight' (simple text file of a few lines should be sufficient).
    3. Upload paper-pdf using "Manuscript - must not contain any author details".
  8. Create the submission pdf.
  9. Read/accept 'ethics in publishing'.
  10. Check created pdf.
  11. Approve submission when ready - you will receive email confirmation.
